Heart Attack on a Plate

Update: hmm…it seems that a surge in popularity based on a NY Times article seems to have brought the site to its knees. I guess their virtual arteries have become clogged..har har.

I’m not entirely sure how I feel about this recipe. On the one hand, something called Bacon Explosion sounds oh-so-delicious. On the other hand, the idea of eating a jellyroll-like mass of meat containing 5000+ calories and 500+ grams of fat sounds a bit repulsive. In some way, just writing that line makes my heart ache.

Regardless, I don’t have access to a smoker, and it’s not in the best interest of my arteries (or my waistline) to be eating something like that, so I don’t anticipate eating or making one any time soon.  Maybe I’ll ask God if I can make one when I’m in Heaven.
