2 Months!?!
Hard to believe, but as of today Charlene and I have been married for 2 months.
We’ll be going out to the site of our first date: Cheesecake Factory for dinner.
I love you, Charlene. Here’s to many more months and years to come.

We had a second shooter, Derek Tang, at our wedding, courtesy of Lynn and his connections. He’s got a photo blog as well, and he posted a plethora of photos as well. Take a look when you get a chance. He’s got some commentary of the photos as well:

Derek came over the morning of our wedding to shoot the guys while Lynn and Joanna were at Amy Cheng’s place with Charlene. Consequently, Derek got some cool shots of the guys that Lynn didn’t get. I’m glad he was there to capture the moment.
Until Sunday, Charlene and I had a veritable Tower of Bed Bath and Beyond in our living room.

We’ve had so many packages delivered to our apartment, it’s a bit ridiculous. But we are grateful to all our friends and family who gave so many generous gifts to us for our wedding.
As you can see from these pictures, we had boxes stacked floor to ceiling in the apartment. Fortunately, we were able to go through all of them and open everything. Yay! Thank you to everyone who graciously gave presents to our wedding, even in the midst of this horrendous economic turmoil.
Lynn never ceases to amaze me. He’s posted photos of the wedding on his blog. I already commented there, but my favorites were “the ‘BAM in yo face’ shot, the ring shot, the cake shot, the double hug shot, and the one of our parents and us watching the Thank You video”
Thank you Lynn!

Our wedding photographer, Lynn-Kai Chao e-mailed us a few teaser photos while we were on our honeymoon.
These are definitely good pics, and certainly a teaser of what’s to come. I can’t wait to see the rest of them.
In case you’re wondering these pictures were all taken before the ceremony. The first two were at Stanford, and the last one was taken near the pool at my cabana.

Well, the day is finally here. In about 7 hours, I’ll be marrying the woman I love. I can’t believe we’ve made it this far. The last 6 months have been quite the whirlwind. But I’m glad it’s almost over.
To those of you who will be there, we’ll see you in a few hours. To everyone else, you will be missed.
There are less than 50 hours to go until the wedding. Can’t believe it! The time can now be seriously measured in hours rather than months, weeks, and days.
People are beginning to arrive for our wedding. Jay arrived tonight from Tucson. Josh will be on a plane tomorrow morning from Chicago to SFO (he’ll be hanging out with some friends and family until the rehearsal on Friday evening). Kirk will leave SLO about 10:00 tomorrow morning. My parents are leaving Bakersfield around 1:00pm tomorrow. Andy should be coming into town on Friday afternoon from SLO. My Uncle Danny Auntie Katie, cousin Tiffany, and Auntie Lonnie should be here Friday afternoon/evening from LA (though they drove to LA from Tucson last week), and my cousin Kevin and his wife Amber will be flying in Friday around 3:00pm from Tucson as well.
And so it begins…
I’ve no idea when the rest of the guests will arrive, but I figure they’ve all got it handled.
Getting excited…
Supposedly, we’re in the midst of a fairly large Pacific Winter storm out here. This weekend, there were all kinds of weather alerts and warnings of inches and inches of rain. They predicted something like 1-3 inches in the Bay Area, with 3-5 inches in the mountains. I’m not sure what the hullabaloo was all about because Sunday only recieved about .22″ of rain and Saturday was even less with .08″. (Praise God it hardly rained on Saturday as I was busy moving my stuff from Mountain View to San Jose, and it would have been the pits if I had to move in the pouring rain that they were predicting.)
In any case, the weather doesn’t look like it’s going to cooperate for the wedding as the 10 day forecast indicates it’ll be raining on Saturday:

In fact, right now, it looks like it’ll rain Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Aww…boo…
Oh well. God will be glorified in the wedding regardless of the weather. Rain or shine, He’s still divine.
There are officially 9 days left until the wedding. We’ve reached the significant milestone of being able to count down the days on our hands. Hope to see you soon…
